अयोध्या में रामलला की मूर्ति की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा
अयोध्या में राम मंदिर के गर्भगृह में भगवान राम की मूर्ति की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा 22 जनवरी, 2024 को होगी। इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मुख्य अतिथि होंगे।
मूर्ति की विशेषताएं
- मूर्ति का निर्माण कर्नाटक के प्रसिद्ध मूर्तिकार अरुण योगीराज ने किया है।
- मूर्ति काले पत्थर से बनी है और इसकी ऊंचाई 51 इंच है।
- मूर्ति के चारों ओर आभामंडल है और इसके दांए से बाएं तक भगवान विष्णु के 10 अवतार बने हुए हैं।
- मूर्ति के सिर पर सूर्य विराजमान है और वहीं आभामंडल के नीचे राम जी के परम भक्त हनुमान जी बनाए गए हैं।
- मूर्ति पर सनातन धर्म के प्रतीक चिन्ह जैसे स्वास्तिक, ओम, चक्र और गदा भी उकेरे गए हैं।
- मूर्ति को कमल के आसन पर विराजित किया जाएगा।
- उनके बाएं हाथ में धनुष होगा और दाहिने हाथ से आशीर्वाद देंगे।
- सिर पर रामलला को सोने का मुकुट पहनाया जाएगा।
प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह
प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह में प्रधानमंत्री मोदी रामलला की मूर्ति की आंखों से कपड़ा हटाएंगे और फिर सोने की सलाई से काजल लगाएंगे। इसके बाद पीएम मोदी आइना दिखाएंगे। कहा जाता है कि जब प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के बाद मूर्ति को दर्पण दिखाया जाता है तो दर्पण चटक जाता है या टूट जाता है।
मूर्तिकार अरुण योगीराज
मूर्तिकार अरुण योगीराज कर्नाटक के मैसूर शहर के रहने वाले हैं। वह एक प्रसिद्ध मूर्तिकार हैं और उन्होंने कई प्रसिद्ध मूर्तियों का निर्माण किया है, जिनमें जगदगुरु शंकराचार्य की मूर्ति और इंडिया गेट पर स्थापित नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस की मूर्ति शामिल हैं।
मूर्ति की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का महत्व

Pran Pratishtha of Ramlalla’s Murti in Ayodhya
The consecration ceremony of Lord Ram’s murti in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram Mandir, Ayodhya, will take place on January 22, 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest on this momentous occasion.
Features of the Murti:
- The murti is sculpted by renowned artist Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka.
- Crafted from black stone, the murti stands 51 inches tall.
- An aura surrounds the murti, and Lord Vishnu’s ten incarnations adorn it from right to left: Kurma, Vamana, Narasimha, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, Matsya, Varaha, Buddha, and Kalki.
- Surrounding the murti’s crown, symbols of Sanatan Dharma – the swastika, Om, chakra, and gada – are intricately carved.
- Seated gracefully on a lotus pedestal, the murti holds a bow in its left hand and bestows blessings with its right.
- A dazzling golden crown adorns Ramlala’s head.
Pran Pratishtha Ceremony:
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi will unveil the eyes of the murti and apply kajal with a golden rod. He will then present a mirror to the murti. It is believed that when a consecrated murti first sees its reflection, the mirror cracks or shatters.
Sculptor Arun Yogiraj:
Hailing from Mysore, Karnataka, Arun Yogiraj is a renowned sculptor who has created several iconic statues, including the murti of Jagadguru Shankaracharya and the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose statue at India Gate, Delhi.
